Rock Hall Class of 2026 to Be Revealed Monday Night in Cleveland

Cleveland's biggest ritual of the year lands Monday night. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will announce its Class of 2026 inductees during the April 13 episode of American Idol, airing from 8 to 10 p.m., and the reveal will also name which city hosts this fall's induction ceremony. For a city whose identity is written into the Hall's glass pyramid on the lakefront, that is a night with real weight.

This year's fan vote — more than 9.4 million ballots cast — went to New Edition, with Phil Collins and P!NK trailing at second and third. The fan winner gets a ballot of its own in the induction voting, but the larger class pulls from a 17-artist nominee list that has, as always, started the usual bar-stool debates across the city.

If you're in town: the Rock Hall itself stays open normal hours Monday, and the plaza by the lake is a good place to catch the sunset before the announcement drops. Expect the museum's social feeds to light up at exactly 10 p.m. Eastern.
